Hilary Elbourne

Hilary Elbourne

Hilary left England in around 1967 and went to live and work in the north of Nigeria near the town of Gindiri (now a Muslim area).

She worked for several years in a girls' school and then for about 10-15 years at a Bible college as a vice-principal.

Whilst at home in 1992/3 her supporting missionary society was experiencing financial problems so Hilary was not able to return to Africa to work. Hilary then spend several years visiting Nigerian women in British prisons, which soon widened into visiting African women.

Hilary has now settled in Nottingham and is co-ordinating worship in serveral churches in the country.
