Well! Summer Camp 2010 was yet another HUGE success!

Nearly 60 children and teenagers came along to Quinta near Oswestry for a brilliant time of sports, quad biking, ice skating, woodland adventures, camp fires and so much more, not forgetting some open and interesting Christian talks and discussion.

Sunday 27th June was a real red-letter day for Hoylake Evangelical Church.

In recognition of what God had already done in their lives, eight teenagers were baptised. Adam, Alan, Ben, Dan, Ellie, Jack, Mark, and Tristan all spoke out their testimonies with real clarity before being baptised.

The Wirral Annual Egg Run is a wonderful spectacle as thousands of motorbikes make their journey through Wirral taking Easter eggs for charitable distribution.

As no-one can travel home, we took the opportunity to stay in church and have a Fellowship Lunch. 

As usual, no-one went away hungry!

On Sunday 15th November we held a Fellowship Lunch after the morning's service. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their "Scouse" (beef stew!) with pickled cabbage and chunky bread, followed by apple pie and cream for desert.

Many young hands helped with setting the room up after the service, while more experienced hands took charge in the kitchen - a real team effort!

The room was arranged to help us relax and get to know one another better, and if the level of chatter was anything to go by it was a real success. 

Thank you to everyone for making it a pleasure to be part of. We're all looking forward to the next..!
